my garden is green..

We do compost stuff, the kitchen scrapings go in the wormery but now we are really green!

When the petrol lawnmower died I bought the cheapest lawnmower I could, less than 30 pounds buys a hand pushed lawn mower. It was slower but used no petrol or electricity and I felt fitter at the end. Short of getting the dogs to graze on the grass this is the greenest way ( and yes I am ignoring the cost of the production of the lawnmower itself) to cut the lawn.

you can spot them a mile away.

Whilst driving to horse riding my daughter and I drive down Fleet High Street, Last Friday evening we saw a young man on a motorbike driving like an accident awaiting to happen - no leathers - lots of acceleration and braking.

Halfway along the road he got bored waiting behind the car turning right and did a sudden and violent overtaking maneuver just as the car turned right - oops big mistake - his road rash will sting for days. Good job he had a helmet on as his head hit a steel post that protects pedestrians from flying motor vehicles… i wonder if he threw it away afterwards?
